Business Systems are typically designed to handle transactions with data organized for processing (rather than processing arranged to suit information management). Data often has to be duplicated to suit different processes, which results in 'Islands' of Information.

However, when it comes to Relationship Management, you need a total picture. Ready access to everything about something is virtually impossible when information is distributed and duplicated in many different places.

TRAXOR was designed from the ground up as a Relationship Management system to address the shortcomings of existing ERP and CRM systems. It uses a revolutionary systems architecture that links information with two-way, context-sensitive Relationships instead of 'compartmentalizing' it.

  • People
Whilst 'people do business with people' as the saying goes, business information systems are in fact organization-centric, with people regarded as 'contacts' within them.  Instead of a single contact record, Traxor has separate Person and Position Records, which recognises that who a person is and the Positions they occupy from time to time are different things.

People are seen as individuals in their own right and their association with other Objects e.g. organisations, defined as Relationships.  Thus a person may be related to an organization via the Position they occupy and to other people via interpersonal relationships.

Traxor Position is analogous to the positions people occupy in organizations e.g. CEO, Sales Representative, Accounts Clerk etc. Information about Position-related activities is kept with Position Records, which are in turn related to the People that occupy them.  When people leave and/or join different organisations, they are simply unlinked from their former Position and linked to the new one in a few mouse clicks.  There is no need to delete or re-key data and Traxor automatically maintains a history of these changes.

  • Organizations
Organizations are usually collections of people, whether they are formal business entities or not; they may be Companies, Departments, Project Teams or “virtual” groupings of people such as Sales Regions.

  • Opportunities
Manage simple or complex sales cycles from start to finish, maintaining details of Products or Services to be sold, Value, likely Close Date, Stage of the sale and details of Organizations and People related to the Opportunity e.g. as Competitors or Influencers.

  • Assets
Assets are products or services that may be owned, provided, or used by Organizations. Record items sold to customers and perhaps even those supplied by your competitors.  Maintain related information such as purchase dates, costs, period of lease etc.

  • Projects
TRAXOR Projects provides a flexible management and communications framework for any goal oriented or time-bound activity; for example Marketing and Sales Campaigns, Product Installation and even Product Development.

Project Resources are associated with Projects via context-sensitive Relationships that clearly illustrate roles and responsibilities.

  • Products & Services
Products and Services are the Sales Items in Sales Opportunities Opportunities and may also be used as the descriptions of Assets. In addition, information about competitors' products (and anyone else's) may be managed in the same framework, providing a single reference source for everything to do with Products or Services.

  • Documents
Documents include Notes and Emails created in Traxor as well as documents created external to the system.  All are managed in much the same way and may be associated with any other Objects, which is effectively how they come to be stored in a variety of contexts

  • Activity Management
Traxor has a suite of complementary Services - Actions, Alerts, Notes, Personal Projects and Diaries, that are designed to help you and your colleagues get things done. There is no need to use all or even any of these services to make use of Traxor, however the minimum combination of Actions, Alerts and your Diary are a very convenient way to collaborate with colleagues and are effective in ensuring things get done.
